To set up a company in Singapore, the following requirements must be met:
- At least one director must be a Singapore resident.
- The company must have at least one shareholder, who can be an individual or a corporate entity.
- The company must appoint a company secretary within six months of incorporation.
- The company must have a registered office address in Singapore.
- The company must register for corporate income tax within three months of incorporation.
In addition to these requirements, the company must also choose a unique company name and register it with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore. The company must also prepare and submit the necessary incorporation documents to ACRA.
